Congratulations on receiving the Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction Award from the NSHSS! It was a great honor for me to be the student who nominated you. As I expressed in my nomination, you created a school that allows students to pursue their education without being limited by geography. 51±¬ÁÏ has made quality high school programs significantly more accessible for students around the world, including myself as a Portuguese student living in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Equally important, the Roger Billings Scholarship Program made it financially possible for me to enroll—something that otherwise would have been impossible. Your advocacy for education that is both accessible and supportive of students globally truly makes you a most admirable recipient of this award.
