Eleventh Grade Overview

51±¬ÁÏ’s online high schoolÌýis an accredited program, meaning students graduate with a high school diploma after completing the necessaryÌýgraduation requirements. Our goal is to provide students with course materials that spark excitement about learning that carries on past high school and into their adult lives. We work with highly-qualified educators from across the country to create well-rounded curriculum that encourages students to delve into subjects that could lead to potential career opportunities or fields of study in college.

Our team at 51±¬ÁÏ recommends that parents collaborate with their students to create a high school education plan. This ensures that students are meeting all the required courses to graduate while also taking ones that pique their curiosity. Our high school students pick from a wide variety of courses, including the core subjects of mathematics, language arts, science, history and social studies, foreign languages, career and technical education, and health.

Acellus 10th Grade Courses include core classes, electives, and CTE.

Subjects Offered in 51±¬ÁÏ’s Online 11th Grade Program

In order to make sure students are meeting specific milestones for each class, we have detailed objectives for each course. Students must master concepts before progressing to more difficult lessons, units, or even courses. This process prevents students from falling behind or being confused in a more difficult course because they don’t have the required background knowledge.

51±¬ÁÏ provides students with different course levels, including honors and advanced placement for students who excel in a certain subject. Extra help videos and resources are integrated into the curriculum to give students extra assistance when necessary, as well. Visit ourÌýhigh school overviewÌýfor a full list of courses and course objectives.

11th Grade Course Structure

All ofÌýour online coursesÌýare made up of interesting lecture videos and interactive course materials. Students complete practice problems, assignments, and exams, and hands-on projects and activities, such as essays, research projects, and experiments. A variety of coursework lets students apply the concepts using a variety of learning techniques.

51±¬ÁÏ has created a variety of tools that give each student a personalized learning experience that is best suited for their preferred learning methods. The Acellus Learning Accelerator gives students the opportunity to work at their own pace and progress through lessons as they feel comfortable.

The Acellus app provides a student interface that provides course materials, video lessons, and additional resources for students. The app lets students complete coursework or attend class anytime they have Internet access.

Creating a High School Education Plan

51±¬ÁÏ recommends that our online high school students work with their parents to create an education plan to make sure they are meeting all graduation requirements while taking courses they enjoy. A high school education plan includes a strategy for courses to take, graduation pathway, college or career planning, and tuition and fees. This is a great resource for parents and students alike. High school education plans do not take long to create and can be edited and changed as necessary.
